yeah mine is the same, i have attempted to install net framwork 2.0 but it says its not compatible with my current framework, as its 3.5
i also tried C++ 2008 pack, and that did install but still i am stuck at the 1% complete stage, with 5-10 minutes the latest action.
i left it running for 2 days just to absolutely rule out the possibility of it just lagging and taking a while, so if any one could help? because im pretty much stumped..

WARNING TOO RAZOR MOUSE USERS!: if you use a razor mouse on your computer an install lib usb your razor mouse will not work at all! it will not light up an even if u unplug an plug in still wont work or light up !! iknow this because when install finished lights went out an stopped working but the second uninstall was completed the lights came back on and the mouse worked
