Heres a little video showing a HP Mini 110-1030NR Dual Booting Windows 7 and Mac OS X 10.5.7. Mac OS has everything functioning including the touchpad, keyboard shortcuts, headphone jack, wi-fi, webcam, sleep; except for the Ethernet port and microphone.
Demo of my netbook hackintosh. It was a struggle to install hackintosh but well worth it. Includes a demo of Plex Media Center application otherwise this demo would be real boring. Shaky camera work, you’ll see why. The ipis-osx.wikidot.com forum helped the most. This forum thread has the clues: ipis-osx.wikidot.com You don’t have to use a modifed bios, just try the “Chameleon DSDT Override” method.
2.93 GHz Celeron D, 1GB @333mHz, GMA900, 10.4.3, full Quartz/Core Image. Running XP Home through parallels. Would *barely* run with 512 ram at full 400mHz.

Another demonstration of the Atom Netbook platform doubling as a compact, portable music studio. As long as you don’t overdo the heavy DSP effects (Reverb, Granular Synthesis, etc) it will do quite nicely. In this demo, Reason 4 is acting as a big rack full of virtual outboard gear, and the modules are being triggered via MIDI by the sequencer in the Ensoniq TS-10 under the Axiom. The AA1 happens to be sitting on a rack full of physical gear so you can see the obvious benefit of a small virtual studio running inside the Netbook. The song is another quick sequence I threw together for this demo. Yes it sounds like prog rock meets MOD file meets keygen. Next time I’ll do a Lawrence Welk cover.
Me noodling around on my Acer Aspire One A150 running Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.5 with some custom kexts to get 1024×600 res, stock audio and wired ethernet working. Machine is stock, no hardware mods (yet) but shows that the Atom netbook platform can do quite a bit with the right software – near-zero audio latency thanks to Core Audio. I threw some patterns together in Garage Band and flew them into Logic Pro 8. All the backing tracks are playing back live in Logic Audio. The keyboard is an M-Audio Axiom 61. Ignore the flubbed notes, it’s only a demo

Install Macintosh on a PC! This is actually a dual boot with ideneb and Vista. I probably won’t use the Mac partition that much. Specs: Asus P5E-VM DO with Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.8Ghz 4GB 800 Mhz DDR2 MSI Nvidia Geforce 8600 GT Wireless-G Card that doesnt work with OSX86 lol 1 TB Hard Drive (ideneb partition was 20GB) Edited on Windows Vista with Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 Screen recorded with screenflow
ideneb 10.5.5, just maked a nice dualboot install on my dual core AMD x64 with winxp x64 and done some shoots with basic camra, edited then published with imovie 08 my hw specs for those trickling to get this thing up are relatively low, but is nice to know … – mobo ABIT KN8 ultra socket 939 / nforce4 ultra – cpu dual core athlon64 4200+ socket 939 /Manchester core – 3Gb DDR1 400Mhz RAM, 2x1g sticks, 2x512m sticks – 3x seagate 80g sata [ 2 in stripe raid for XP, one for ideneb] – gfx: GF-8800GT 512Mb * DDR3 [ DISCLAMER ] I do not encourage use of pirated software!!! what’s shown here is only for testing purposes. i already own a real mac with legal OS installed. i buyed osx leopard original box DVD so if you think to use it this way and everyday, you should do the same. [ DON'T ] Don’t buy PC configurations with osx86 pre-installed from hardware re-sellers that are selling such “ready-to-go” configs. They are abusing the osx86 community with making money of it. All those brave people that worked hard to get osx on your PC are sharing their work with you and me for free. With little effort you can find all needed compatible PC parts and having more fun.
