How To Bypass Windows Xp Password?

How to bypass Windows XP password? We often meet the headache stuff that don’t know the Windows system password at the critical comment. How to do if you made a Windows XP password that you never be care of it? How should you do when your computer has parents controlled by the XP Administrator password? Or you need to borrow a friend’s computer to carry out emergency work, but you don’t know the admin password…Let’s share some tips about how to bypass windows XP password.

First things first, try the guest account. Simply enter ‘Guest’ in the user name box, or click on the account labeled Guest. Sometimes people will have these account enabled without even realizing it, and many times they are left without a password. If this doesn’t work for you, or you require a little bit more access than the Guest account provides, read on.

Next up is Windows XP’s built in ‘Administrator’ account. This account is created during Windows installation, and is not accessible under normal circumstances. Many computers, especially those that come from Dell or similar companies, leave the Administrator account without password protection.

To get to this account, boot the computer into safe mode. You can do this by holding down the F8 key during startup, and selecting Safe Mode from the Windows boot menu. Once the computer boots into Safe Mode, you’ll have access to the Administrator account. Things will look a little weird in Safe Mode, but don’t worry, things will be fine when you boot normally again.

Once Windows finishes booting, try getting into the Administrator account, leaving the password field blank. If you’re unable to get in this way, then there is a password on the account, and unless you can guess it, you’re going to have to try something else, and you can skip the next paragraph. If you’re in, then there’s no limit to what you can do.

Besides, you can also take use of Windows password reset CD to remove Windows XP password if you forgot Windows XP password. Well, how can you get Windows password reset CD? Just download Windows Password Unlocker and a blank CD, you can DIY a Windows password reset CD in 4 steps.

Tutorial to Unlock Windows

Tutorial to Unlock Windows XP Administrator Password!

The Windows XP administrator passwordis the password used to access the “Administrator” account.

This account usually doesn’t show up on the logon screen and most people don’t know it exists. Usually that’s okay because you won’t need to use your computer under this account very often.

There are a few times when you will need this password! When you’re accessing the Windows XP Recovery Console or you’re trying to boot into Windows XP Safe Mode, you’ll need this password before you can continue.

Follow the steps below to quickly find the administrator password on your computer!

Try leaving the password blank. More often than not, the Administrator password doesn’t exist at all! Just press Enter without typing anything when asked for it.

Enter the password to your account. Often times, depending on how Windows XP was setup on your computer, the primary user account will also be the administrator user account.

Try to remember your administrator password. If you installed Windows XP on your computer yourself, you probably set the administrator password during the Windows XP installation process. If that’s true, you might be able to make really good guesses at what the password might be.

Have another user enter his or her password. If there are other users that have accounts on your Windows XP computer, one of them may be setup with administrator access.

Recover Windows XP administrator password using a password recovery tool. Password recovery tools are software programs reset Windows XP password without reinstalling the OS.

Perform a clean installation of Windows XP. This is a last resort option. This type of installation will completely remove Windows XP from your PC and install it again from scratch.

If you’re just curious about your administrator password, I wouldn’t suggest this extreme solution. However, if you’re needing the administrator password to access diagnostic tools and this is your last effort to save your PC, performing a clean install will work. Keep in mind that it is a time consuming process due to the fact that all of your data must be backed up and then later restored.

How To Reset Windows Xp Password For Free?

If Windows XP password recovery is your only problem, then you probably have nothing to worry about. As long as you have your Windows XP CD, you can get back into your system using a simple but effective method made possible by a little known access hole in Windows XP.

This Windows XP password reset method is easy enough for newbies to follow – it doesn’t require using the Recovery Console or any complicated commands. And it’s free – I mention that because you can pay two hundred dollars for an emergency download of Winternals ERD with Locksmith which is a utility for recover Windows passwords. See here http://www.winternals.com/products/r…/locksmith.asp

ERD is an excellent multi purpose product, but you should know it is not a necessary one if you have a healthy system and your sole problem is the inability to logon to Windows due to a forgotten password. Not necessary because you can easily change or reset Administrator password for free during a Windows XP Repair. Here’s how with a step-by-step description of the initial Repair process included for newbie’s.

1. Place your Windows XP CD in your cd-rom and start your computer (it’s assumed here that your XP CD is bootable – as it should be – and that you have your bios set to boot from CD)

2. Keep your eye on the screen messages for booting to your cd Typically, it will be “Press any key to boot from cd”

3. Once you get in, the first screen will indicate that Setup is inspecting your system and loading files.

4. When you get to the Welcome to Setup screen, press ENTER to Setup Windows now

5. The Licensing Agreement comes next – Press F8 to accept it.

6. The next screen is the Setup screen which gives you the option to do a Repair.

It should read something like “If one of the following Windows XP installations is damaged, Setup can try to repair it”

Use the up and down arrow keys to select your XP installation (if you only have one, it should already be selected) and press R to begin the Repair process.

7. Let the Repair run. Setup will now check your disks and then start copying files which can take several minutes.

8. Shortly after the Copying Files stage, you will be required to reboot. (this will happen automatically – you will see a progress bar stating “Your computer will reboot in 15 seconds”

9. During the reboot, do not make the mistake of “pressing any key” to boot from the CD again! Setup will resume automatically with the standard billboard screens and you will notice Installing Windows is highlighted.

10. Keep your eye on the lower left hand side of the screen and when you see the Installing Devices progress bar, press SHIFT + F10. This is the security hole! A command console will now open up giving you the potential for wide access to your system.

11. At the prompt, type NUSRMGR.CPL and press Enter. Voila! You have just gained graphical access to your User Accounts in the Control Panel.

12. Now simply pick the account you need to change and reset Windows password as you prefer. If you want to log on without having to enter your new password, you can type control userpasswords2 at the prompt and choose to log on without being asked for password. After you’ve made your changes close the windows, exit the command box and continue on with the Repair (have your Product key handy).

13. Once the Repair is done, you will be able to log on with your new password (or without a password if you chose not to use one or if you chose not to be asked for a password). Your programs and personalized settings should remain intact.

I tested the above on Windows XP Pro with and without SP1 and also used this method in a real situation where someone could not remember their password and it worked like a charm to fix the problem. This security hole allows access to more than just user accounts. You can also access the Registry and Policy Editor, for example. And its gui access with mouse control. Of course, a Product Key will be needed to continue with the Repair after making the changes, but for anyone intent on gaining access to your system, this would be no problem.

And in case you are wondering, NO, you cannot cancel install after making the changes and expect to logon with your new password.

Cancelling will just result in Setup resuming at bootup and your changes will be lost.

Ok, now that your logon problem is fixed, you should make a point to prevent it from ever happening again by creating a Password Reset Disk. This is a floppy disk you can use in the event you ever forget your log on password. It allows you to set a new password.

Here’s how to create one if your computer is NOT on a domain:
Go to the Control Panel and open up User Accounts.
Choose your account (under Pick An Account to Change) and under Related Tasks, click “Prevent a forgotten password”.
This will initiate a wizard.
Click Next and then insert a blank formatted floppy disk into your A: drive.
Click Next and enter your logon password in the password box.
Click Next to begin the creation of your Password disk.
Once completed, label and save the disk to a safe place

How to Log on to your PC Using Your Password Reset Disk

Start your computer and at the logon screen, click your user name and leave the password box blank or just type in anything. This will bring up a Logon Failure box and you will then see the option to use your Password Reset disk to create a new password. Click it which will initiate the Password Reset wizard. Insert your password reset disk into your floppy drive and follow the wizard which will let you choose a new password to use for your account.

Note: If your computer is part of a domain, the procedure for creating a password disk is different.

Lost or Forgot Computer Password? Reset Windows XP password!

Lost or Forgot Computer Password? Reset Windows XP password!

If you have lost or forgotten your password for logging in to a computer running the Windows XP operating system, there are a few different options:

If you created a Windows XP password reset disk for Windows XP, you can use that disk to reset Windows XP password on your account. For more information on how to create and use password reset disks go to the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

How to create and use a password reset disk for a computer that is not a domain member in Windows XP
How to create and use a password reset disk for a computer in a domain in Windows XP

If you don’t have a Windows XP password reset disk, the other option is to log on as the Administrator (or to have the person who is the machine’s Administrator log on) and change the Windows XP password for your user account. For information on how to do this go to the following Mircosoft article:

If you don’t know the Administrator password, and don’t have a Windows XP password reset disk, then you will not be able to log on to Windows XP, and will need to reinstall the operating system and recreate any user accounts.

There are some programs available on the web which claim to be able to reset the Windows XP password(s) without access to an Administrator account, but these are not Microsoft programs, and are not recommended. If you do wish to try one of these programs (at your own risk), a web search should turn up a number of options.

Other tips:

First, do you have the administrator password? Login as an admin and change the password of your user ID NEW: If you are an Administrator user, and are logged into Windows right now because your PC is setup to log you in automatically, but have forgotten your password in fact, and would now like to change it. well, Windows requires you to know the old one. However, there is a brute force way to reset the Administrator password. Open a Command prompt (START—> RUN—> then type “cmd” without the double quotes) and then type the following command:

net user username newpassword

Remember, if the username has spaces in it, then enclose it in double quotes, e.g.,

net user “Jackson” pulpypass

This would change Samuel Jackson’s password to pulpypass provided Samuel Jackson was an Administrator user.

Don’t have admin access? Well, you can get it if you wish by downloading a cool utility from Thomas Mathiesen to recover Windows password if you have forgotten it. Or, you could just download this program to reset Windows XP / 2000 / NT security if the Administrator password, secure boot password, or the key disk is lost. NTAccess can replace the administrator password of a Windows XP, Windows NT or Windows 2000 system by rebooting the computer with a special set of boot disks or CD-ROM (XP only). This is useful if you forgot the administrator password and cannot access the Windows XP/2000/NT system. Petter N Hagen has put together an Offline NT Password & Registry Editor, which is basically a single floppy or CD containing everything you need to edit the passwords on most Windows systems.

However, keep in mind that when you are doing this, that it will take lots of time. Also, when you do this it’s high likely that you will lose all your programs, and your personal files.

For these 2 reasons, I don’t recommend you to go for this option. I highly recommend you to go for option 2, which is all about using a Windows XP Password Cracker software.

Using A Windows XP Password Cracker To Automatically Crack Your XP Password

It’s highly recommended to go for this option simply because it saves you lots of time and frustrations and it has nothing to do with re-installing your current XP version.

When you do this option, you’ll need to use a Windows XP Password Cracker program. With this program you’ll be able to automatically reset your XP password which allows you to log in to XP without using a password.

A great program is called Password Resetter. This is how it works:

1 – The program will automatically create your bootable CD or USB with your copied Windows XP files.
2 – Password Resetter will crawl through your Windows XP files to find your system user.
3 – Once founded, Password Resetter will then automatically reset your password.
4 – Simply restart your PC and you’ll be able to login without using a password.

Well, that’s exactly how this software program works. Quite easy isn’t? Why don’t you take a look at this program? Visit: Password Resetter

Tutorial to Unlock Windows Vista Administrator Password!

Tutorial to Unlock Windows Vista Administrator Password!

Windows Vista administrator password is the password to an account configured with administrator level access in Windows Vista.

There doesn’t actually have to be an “Administrator” user account. What you need is the password to any account that can act as an administrator.

You may need an administrator password in Windows Vista if you’re trying to run certain types of programs or access certain Windows Vista password recovery tools.

Follow the steps below to quickly find the Windows Vista administrator password in Windows Vista!

Try leaving the password blank. If there is actually an Administrator account, the password may not exist at all!

Just press Enter when asked for it.

Enter the password to your account. Often times, depending on how Windows Vista was setup on your computer, the user account you use every day will also be an account with administrator access.

Try to guess your administrator password. If, as I mentioned above, your account is configured as an administrator but you’ve forgotten the password, you might be able to guess the admin password.

Have another user enter his or her password. If there are other users that have accounts on your Windows Vista computer, one of them might be an administrator.

If so, that other user can grant you administrator privileges after logging in.

Recover the admin password using a Windows password recovery tool. One of these free password recovery tools could recover or reset the administrator password.

Perform a clean install of Windows Vista. This type of operating system installation will completely remove Windows Vista from your PC and install it again from scratch, removing all your data in the process.

If you’re just curious about your admin password then obviously don’t do this. However, if you’re needing the administrator password because of a last ditch effort to save your PC, a clean install will work.

Please note that it is a time consuming process due to the fact that all of your programs and saved data must be backed up and then restored.
