After receiving a message and remembering how I failed to deliver the last video, I decided to make this short video and a package to install these themes AND screen savers on your Windows XP and Vista machines. This is actually quite interesting because almost every file needed to be modified in order for all of this to work properly. All of the screen savers will show their correct name in Display Properties instead of “Wildlife 32.” All of the theme files are created in a nice clean directory structure on your computer, and all the fonts are installed to the system fonts folder, so they can be used in other applications if you so desire. I’d consider it quite amazing that everything functions EXACTLY as it would on Windows 98. If you noticed that the My Documents icon in the video didn’t change when I applied themes, it’s because the My Documents folder just never had theme icons, even under Windows 98.
