Tutorial to Unlock Windows Vista Administrator Password!

Windows Vista administrator password is the password to an account configured with administrator level access in Windows Vista.

There doesn’t actually have to be an “Administrator” user account. What you need is the password to any account that can act as an administrator.

You may need an administrator password in Windows Vista if you’re trying to run certain types of programs or access certain Windows Vista password recovery tools.

Follow the steps below to quickly find the Windows Vista administrator password in Windows Vista!

Try leaving the password blank. If there is actually an Administrator account, the password may not exist at all!

Just press Enter when asked for it.

Enter the password to your account. Often times, depending on how Windows Vista was setup on your computer, the user account you use every day will also be an account with administrator access.

Try to guess your administrator password. If, as I mentioned above, your account is configured as an administrator but you’ve forgotten the password, you might be able to guess the admin password.

Have another user enter his or her password. If there are other users that have accounts on your Windows Vista computer, one of them might be an administrator.

If so, that other user can grant you administrator privileges after logging in.

Recover the admin password using a Windows password recovery tool. One of these free password recovery tools could recover or reset the administrator password.

Perform a clean install of Windows Vista. This type of operating system installation will completely remove Windows Vista from your PC and install it again from scratch, removing all your data in the process.

If you’re just curious about your admin password then obviously don’t do this. However, if you’re needing the administrator password because of a last ditch effort to save your PC, a clean install will work.

Please note that it is a time consuming process due to the fact that all of your programs and saved data must be backed up and then restored.
