In the wake of the release of Red Alert 3 -the purchase of which in my humble opinion was a total waste of 50 bucks- I’d like to take you back to the original Command & Conquer: Red Alert and all its gritty, gutsy glory. It’s a Soviet-on-Soviet mission with several units modded and it takes place on a map I created from scratch using the Red Alert Map Editor (and a few other modding tools). HOW TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THE JACKPOT MISSION You can download the mission here (free!): majorslack.com To install and play the mission, simply unzip the downloaded zip file and then copy the scu-0001.mix file into your Red Alert game directory (typically this is C:\WESTWOOD\REDALERT). Note that this configuration not only sets the Stora up ready for use on the home nework but is all that is needed to get full remote access.
