make a review on windows 7 full version
hello wizkid I got important question for you
so I got “special” disk for windows and theres 8gb left when I install win 7 will it remove old and make new or I have to install to my big disk and have a dual boot ?
BACK UP … only window 7 programs will only work on window 7 .. all your X.P. program have to be filed in the bin
why would you need two operating systems on your computer
..
so what can your computer do .. well is can run visa or windows 7 ..
there’s no room for a real program …
Tell me the truth .. witch one has no bugs in it …
and your answer is windows 8 is looking more promising
i downloaded the RC build 7600 and just cracked it with 7Loader
Dual boot it, I did it tonight.
Norton Partition Magic- split XP drive into two partitions.
Insert Win7 install disk. Choose to install to unallocated space.
You can now choose to boot to XP or Win7 whenever you turn on PC. By doing this you don’t lose apps or files.
After partitioning the drive you have Win7 installed on the C drive and a block of unallocated space (do not format this in disk management).
Insert Vista install disk, you should be able to choose the unallocated space to install to as part of the install process.
Once you have two OS’s installed simultaneously you choose which to load in a simple menu when you power on PC.
Well if you don’t want to backup you can temporarily make a dual boot system. Use a program like Norton Partition Magic to split your hard drive into 2 partitions (one with your XP) and half unallocated. When you run Win7 Installer select the unallocated space to install to. Copy files across after Win7 is installed, then use device manager to format your XP partition, and then combine them both.
Sounds like a difficult process, but can be done in about an hour. Good luck.
i already have windows 7 bow down lol it pretty much sexy and amazing im not gonna lie lol
I’d recommend an external HD because I assume you have lots of stuff
I have the XP and want to transfer it to Win7
how do yo backup ur files? on CD’s USB’s xD

yes
u gotta backup ur files
Like me. I want to transform XP to Win7
I plan on installing it ontop of Vista and doing a clean install.
man you sound a little bit like the actor Joe Pesci, the guy in Casino
jart122, disk C is where they store all the programs u have for e.g. mozilla firefox etc.
disk D is where all the data is kept idk why its like that just go with it
No because it dosen’t format ur c drive it Duals operatring systems
If i have Windows XP and i do a trial out for 3 months, do i lose my stuff ?
that seemed messy, dunno if it’s worth the trouble
not so good with computers^^
@PlatinumBattler, you can do dual boot but you have to install the separate operating system you want to dual boot with
if you get the Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade not full version. Can you still do dual-boot?
ok so if I want to install windows 7. I have windows vista rite now and it shows I have a C and D -drive, when I install windows 7 clean install do I have to split my drive in half like you did or I can just install it without splitting my drive. I’m not going to run two operating system so I guess I don’t have to split them or partition rite. But why do computers always come with a C and D- drive even though is for one operating system.
Ok we know how to split a etc drive simple! but how to you dual boot it with vista ?
and i want download link
where do you get the cursor
